Do not buy Palit. buy Asus/Evga/Sparkle instead...

Its Palit, correct the spelling mistake. Yes, you go for Palit ones, it costs around 5.6 k.

I was also looking into this card, and found there is also an EVGA 9800gt (512mb) Superclocked version. Should one buy that, or a Palit 9800gt (1gb). The superclocked EVGA one is 1k more expensive than the Palit one.

Dont go with evga,palit is better.

in performance palit one shud be better with its better cooler.

but watch out. palit ones a quiet high failure ratio than others even with better coolers.

Guess it's better to go with the Sparkle 9800gt (1 gb) then? I've used Sparkle 9500gt and it's been holding good so far, been using it about a year now.

you can buy zotac amp! version (core clock @700mhz)

or zotac 1gb version or 512

4770 is also a good option
