Graphic Cards 9800GT or 4850/4830 on Zebronic 500W Platinum

Will 9800GT or HD4850/4830 work on Zebronic 500W Platinum??I m currently using Q6600 with 9500GT n 1HDD on it....Will it support 9800GT or HD4850??

Which is d best gfx card supported on it??

^^ i rem from xprience that a zebby platinum 500w gives 24A on 12v...while my frnds 9600gt needed 26A on 12v....he finnaly had to get a zebby 600W(27A)
.....So a big no to putting a power hungry card on that smps......

get a 4670 and relax for the time-being...best gfx card for low-end smps's..but is the difference between 9500gt and 4670 that much to try out an upgrade(assuming its a ddr3 9500gt)....thats for u to think abt..

if u are not overclocking, it wont be a problem as of now.. 4850 requires only a 450w smps..

i had a zebby smps earlier.. after some months of usage, it started to get much hotter than usuall.. and after a week of being "hot", it exploded inside my cpu..

luckly, it didnt take any of my components with it.. :D

i think u wont be able to use ur smps with any of the cards u mentioned for more than a month... also, the risk of ur psu spoiling ur mobo or ur graphics card is not that low..

I was using the Cooler Master 460 with 3 hard disk, Q6600 G0, 8800 GT and 3 fans, never faced any problems, now with E6850, still no problems

Hope that helps !

You can take a small degree of risk and go with a second-hand 4850, don't buy a new one. IMO, it should work out fine. 4670 etc. won't be much of an upgrade, though the decision lies with you. If you're not happy with your current card's performance, how about upgrading the PSU so that you can get something much better later, as well as some peace of mind?
