a nice find

but it is a double edged sword in hands of novices like me.

it scans and finds possible (mark this word) problems and points you to possibilities it does not mean there is some problem with your system.
so you can use this as a light house where you may find some problems if there is any.

HijackFree shows you just the possibilities it doesn't check the files! It search the entry names and send them to the server and the server check the entries for there name. So if exist 1 entry in your logfile with good and bad entries on the server then the server will show you both, that means not that the good and the bad one is on your system it means only that it is possible that the entry is good and it is also possible that the entry is bad.

so friends use this tool and take help of someone expert if you are confused.

i will prefer hijackthis as a better tool.

this a squared hijackfree is made for experts only.

to find abovementioned facts i had to spend my 3 hours which i could have used to do some nice reading :P
 
Yeah, i've used a2, it find a lot of probelms which are completely safe and running with your permission - for example - " firefox.exe is seem to be using malicious codes to found in the nature of many virus.....etc etc crap" get the idea. i wouldn't reccomend this. If you want a free virus scanner get AVG, or hijack this, and a suitable special forums for it.
