A Basic Surround Sound Setup

Ok Guys , This might come across as a Crass and raw request. I would acknowledge the Brickbats

What I have
1. A 32 Inch LCD HDMI (Sansui Kyuuten 324H)
2. 5.1 Speakers Philips SP 070 (yet to recieve)
3. DVD Moser Baer USB2.0 Compliant(yet to recieve)
4. TATA Sky Connection , STB et al

My Questions and Requests
1. How do I hook up HDMI Input from TATA Sky to TV
2. The Speaker set up with cable flow diagrams(e g Video:STB To DVD to TV, Audio STB to DVD to Central Unit of Speaker)
3. A general layout for the whole setup
4. Cable, Types and Brands to be used

No, Sound quality etc is not a very big, aesthetically and Image quality should be good
 
Only tata sky plus has HDMI. The normal set top box has only composite out.

Connect this way

Tata Sky STB-> Composite in of LCD TV, Audio out of STB->Audio in of TV

Connect the HDMI out of the DVD player(if it exists) to the LCD TV HDMI in. Otherwise connect it using component cables.

Connect the SPDIF out of the DVD player to the SPDIF in of the 5.1 speaker system that you ordered.
