1.needs javascript even before one can begin searching.

looks like they have deliberately gone in the opposite direction of what made google a success :P

None of which are problems in the west. :P Its a nice concept, would be interesting to see if google implements it in the future.
 
The same concept is available through firefox add on, forgot the name. But it sure takes too much bandwidth and time .
