A decent Digital Camera|Budget:10k

Hey fellas....

After playing with my Sony DSC S60 for around 6 years i have now decided to buy a new camera.

Budget is 10k... can increase it a bit if the product is found worthy .

I don't think i need more than 10 MP so the emphasize would be on optical zoom

Panasonic TZ10 for its form factor,quality and 12x optical zoom in 10K

+1 for Pana TZ10, I'd also consider Nikon Coolpix S8100

Sony HV and WX series or Nikon S8100/8200/9100, Canon SX220/230 - all uses Backlit Illuminated Sensor which offer better low light performance than most CCD-sensor powered cameras in this price range. Sony and Nikon models offer wider lens ( 24mm to 25mm) which let you capture more area than Canon ones and usually helpful for indoor (close room) and landscape shooting. Canon models offer slightly sharper detail pictures though ( when viewed at full resolution on a PC monitor).
