Hi Guys ,
my friend wants to buy a comp , His budget is 45000 , the catch is that he wants to buy a decent gaming rig ! Iam sure 45000 is enough to buy adecent if not great gaming rig ! So plz help me and suggest the parts which he has to buy , please specify the price also !!:)

AMD 3000+/3200+ (~6500)

Asus A8N-e (~7000)

XFX 6600GT (Never go for BIG !!!) (~8500)

512*2 Trasncend DDR400 RAM (~4500)

80 GB/160GB Seagate HDD (~3000/~4500)

Good cheap case. (~2000)

PowerSafe 450W PSU (~2500, not sure)

LG Flatron 17" CRT (~7000)

I think thats the main stuff.

A8Ne is 6.2k and get twimos over trancend. A 400w powersafe will suffice. Get benq 1640 for the optical drive. Mx 518 for the mouse. Grand total would be ~ 45k

Coming to the topic, well 6600GT is on an average 50-60% faster than a vanilla 6600.
