System Manufacturer: Gigabyte Technology Co., Ltd.
System Model: GA-MA78GM-S2H

Processor: AMD Phenom(tm) 9850 Quad-Core Processor (4 CPUs), ~2.5GHz
Memory: 1790MB RAM

1. Does 1 single stick of 8GB ram comes in the market. If yes then I can install that in my system. If there is no 8GB stick can I install 2 4gb Sticks of ram. If yes then which one is the best which can be compatible with my system. Also let me know how much would it cost.
2. I need a good video card where I can play some good strategy games in my system along with new games which are coming now. Can you ppl suggest me a good video card plz and also let me knw how much would it costs.
3. I got cooler master 450 watts power supply installed in my system. Would that be fine and compatible with the video card and ram that you ppl would suggest for my system. Let me know yes or no.
4. Also since 3TB hard disc has many issues, can I install a internal 2TB hard disc for my system. If yes then how much would it costs as lamington road please let me know.

Guys give me the total price alltogether for 8GB ram, video card and the 2TB hard disc so that I can purchase it from lamington rd. Also I need a good hardware technician who can cme and install this stuff as I dont know how to do it from Mumbai.

@John4321, here are your answers --

1) I noticed that you have a motherboard that support DDR II RAM not DDR III, the former has been phased out in favour of the latter. So even if you do get the RAM modules they will be obscenely expensive. DDR II's most common avatar was 2GB pieces but I think you already have a 2GB of RAM as off now, how many of your DIMM's are taken up by this?

2) Which SMPS is it, a Cooler Master eXtrem Power Pro OR a Cooler Master GX450W? Depending on the SMPS you have do not, you will not be able to add more than an AMD HD 7770 GHz edition graphics card, it will set you back by approximately 9000/- INR. If you hav an eXtreme Power Pro SMPS I recommend you replace that with a Seasonic S12II 520W ~3800/- and add a AMD HD 7850 2GB to your RIG.

3) Refer to answer no. 2.

4) 2TB hard drive on Lamington Rd. is going for ~6700/- [for a Seagate Barracuda 7200.12], if you go for the Seagate Barracuda LP [Low Power] edition it will set you back by ~6200/-.

TOTAL PRICE BREAKDOWN --
RAM ~????, as it is very hard to come by I have no idea on RAM prices, best scout through the TE Member's market.
AMD HD 7770 GHz edition ~9000/- OR AMD HD 7850 2GB ~16500/-
Seasonic S12II 520W ~3800/-
2TB hard drive ~6200/- --> 6700/-

Hope this helps, Cheerio!!

So alpha as you mentioned DDR2 ram will cost more. So if I change the motherboard only then would it be fine the one that supports the new ram DDR3. I dont mind changing to a new mother good one that would be compatible with my current processor and DDR3 ram. Let me know please. Also I have Real Power Pro 450 Watts Power supply.

Also I wanted to mention that from past 2 mnths I am having this pblm, when I start my system it takes 30-40 mins to start. What could be the problem can you let me know. The CPU fan and all that stuff starts but the actual start screen on the monitor comes after 30-40 mins or 20-30 mins. So I have to wait so much time.
