This is a headsup. I was going to buy a cheap, no frills phone for calls and texting with a budget of around 2K.

Then I saw the Samsung E250 on offer for 2249/- and grabbed it.

I know it ain't such a great phone but at that price it is like getting the VGA cam, the MP3 player and the expandable memory for free.

I got the phone all safe and sound on August 16th. I had requested the black colour version but was told they cannot assure me anything about the colour. I was pleasantly surprised to see that they indeed shipped me a black handset.

Very happy with it so far. Imagine getting a slider phone with a Camera (I know it's only a VGA), MP3 player, expandable memory and a pretty large size display for only 2249 + 150 (shipping) = 2399

Fantastic price for a branded phone with those features. However by the time I got my phone, the deal was taken off so it is no more available at that price.
 
good for you :D wish i saw the thread earlier, have to get a new samsung for my mom :(
 
Undoubtedly great deal, do check out if it's reloaded version i.e. you get a better battery and 1 gb card along with phone..
