2011 will go down in history as one of the better years for gaming. A gazillion titles and sequels saw their releases on multiple platforms and some of them were received very well. And just when we thought the world was going to end, here's 2012 lined up with some kick-arse releases back to back! I did compile an similar article for PC releases listing down the various titles that were released in 2011 and now, behold the list for 2012 by yours truly but this time it is Multi-platform. Prepare to lighten up your wallets ladies!
Armored Core V

The game will take place 17 years after the events of Soulcalibur IV. The main protagonist is Patroklos, the son of Soul series veteran Sophitia, while her daughter, Pyrrha is the deuteragonist. The only revealed guest character so far is Ezio Auditore da Firenze from the Assassin's Creed series.

Originally scheduled to be released on July 10, 2011 and then on October 4, 2011, it was delayed for both dates and instead will be released February 7, 2012 in North America and February 10, 2012 in Europe for Microsoft Windows, Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3.

Street Fighter X Tekken (pronounced Street Fighter Cross Tekken) is an upcoming crossover fighting game being developed by Capcom. The game was announced at the 2010 San Diego Comic-Con International by Capcom producer Yoshinori Ono. The game is set to release on PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, Microsoft Windows and PlayStation Vita sometime in March 2012. The game will feature characters from both the Street Fighter franchise and Namco's Tekken series. As the game is being made by Capcom, with Namco being involved more in the licensing of the Tekken cast, the gameplay will be based on the 2D gameplay of Street Fighter as opposed to the Tekken series, and will feature projectile moves such as the Hadouken. Namco is currently producing their own take on the crossover, Tekken X Street Fighter, which will follow their own style of gameplay.

Borderlands 2 is a science fiction–based first-person shooter with role-playing-elements and the sequel to 2009's Borderlands. It is currently under development by Gearbox Software for the Microsoft Windows, PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 platforms. The game is expected to be released in 2K's 2013 fiscal year, which begins in April 2012 and ends in March 2013.
