PC Peripherals A new gaming mouse...but which one?

Guys!! I am desperately in a need for a good mouse, and I cant tell you that how much confused I am. :(

And from the discussion here...http://www.techenclave.com/forums/logitech-g5-and-g7-mice-review-69613.html...I am even more confused now.... :S

Can you guys tell me one thing. I am a gamer (CSS) and I need a good mouse. I was thinking of a Razor CopperHead + Mantis (which I shortlisted from G5/G7/CH/DB/MX518) but I cant get it in India ( or can I :huh: ) and have to buy it online.

Should I go for a logitech mouse so that I get any support if anything wrong happens or support my decision for the ch?

Please help...
 
Id suggest a MX 518.I use one ( to pwns you =p) and its great.When accompanied with my Everglide Titian, its an amazing weapon!.

But if your fansy then the Copperhead is a good mouse, you can order it from www.razerzone.com .It takes about a week to get delivered.Avoid going for the G5 or the G7, many of my friends say its a waste and those weight things are pretty much useless.

Well, can I get the Razor in India? And why do you or your pals think the G5/ G7 is worthless? Just a matter of opinion or something concrete? Share if you have any hard facts cos I'm seriously thinking of getting the G7.
 
To be honest, I tried the G7 and it isn't recommended for gaming, maybe people don't trust wireless mice.The G5 is OK to some extent (2000 DPI) but the shape is kinda weird.But thats just me.Maybe I'm just so used to my Mx 518.And no, the Razer Copperhead isn't avaliable in India - Yet.

Nobody just opposed G5/G7 but they say that razors are better. But thanks anyways...one more reason to buy ch.
 
Man.

DD, why would any1 go for an MX518, which uses a stupid optical engine @ 125 Hz, rather than a G5/CH which uses a 500 and 1000 Mhz Polling. respectively.

Do some research before yapping.

Gamers normally dont buy Wireless mice, coz they are on the move.

Its just that the older Wireless mice used to Skip "SOMETIMES".

The G7 doesnt Skip at all. Logitech guarantee :P.

And DD, FYI, Razer is available WORLDWIDE.

Just use a damn Credit Card. Beg, borrow, steal, a CC.

Thw weights are useful, but, IMHO, you can get used to any weight, if your open.

Its RAZER! Not RAZOR...

Im sick of people typing it wrongly.. We dont fuggin SHAVE WITH THEM!

I was simply giving that information by personal experience.And, are you sure the CH is avaliable here? and where is it avaliable?

And, I don't think the G7 is really affordable, its a really expensive mouse and Justin is mainly using this for CSS, so he would need something more reasonable.

Yeah, no doubt, performance wise CH is by far the best of the 3, but you should take into consideration the price and I don't think Justin is too keen to order this thing online :)

But the thing is same. U both r saying CH. Adi was just not happy with ur reviews with G5/G7. Anyways I got my point...:hap2:
