A Notch Better - Cowon S9 / Samsung Yp p3 / IPOD Touch

Hi guys,

I am in a dilemma as to which one to buy, so i thought i would ask you guys.
Could you please suggest me which one is better of the three :-

1) Cowon S9
2) Samsung Yp p3
3) IPOD Touch

Have you looked at the new S9 UI, +100 for that, gor Cowon if audio SQ matters for you. It retails around 15k for the 16gb model

If its sound quality that you are after, then Cowon is the way to go. If you want a well rounded , but slightly flawed multi-purpose device, then go for the iPod Touch.

Ask yourself as to what your requirements are? What are you looking for in a PMP.

The S9 is one of the best sounding Mp3 players. There's a used one for sale in the market as well .

+1 for the ipod touch for being a versatile device.

I love my S9 to bits, sounds great and like Reeking says the new UI is awesome and works well. I guess the Ipod makes sense if you're really going to fiddle around with apps and stuff. Never used the Samsung so I can't tell.

If you're on a strict budget the D2/D2+ paired with some good IEMs is probably the way to go, plus you the option of using a memory card with it and FLAC support of course.

Bundled charger with the D2 is a nice addition. I was upset Cowon didn't include one with the S9, had to pay 650 for it
