To a certain extent, subdued reporting is ok. But complete silence is pretty disturbing.
Read a few days back that a hyd techie kidnapped a female colleague cuz she refused his proposal. He raped her for 5 days so that she ll give in and convert. That too wasn't reported because it had a religion angle to it.
