Dissident AAP MLA Pankaj Pushkar was today marshalled out of the Delhi Assembly after he raised the issue of lakhs of government school students having "failed" the mid-term exams. The action was taken after Pushkar persistently raised the issue which was seen by the Speaker as disruption of House proceedings. "Out of 3 lakh class 9 students studying in Delhi government schools, 2.5 lakh students failed the mid-term exams. Government doesn't want to allow me to take up this issue in the Assembly," Pushkar said.

Teachers not teaching properly? Students not studying?
Its deeper than it sounds.

failing the exam was one of the fears which made us study.
Kapil Sibal tought Delhi students not to fear anything.
I know a govt. school teacher who told me all teachers are happy with Sibal's rules.
They only have to prepare spreadsheets and upload to education deptt portal.
Even the public (students+parents) was happy.
No one complained that Sibal was not providing good education.
He had very good results to show off.

Last year I talked to a govt. school librarian in his school.
He told me that students no more borrow books from school library.
When I asked why, he gave a very simple reason, "now students can't read".

It was started by Kapil Sibal and Kejrival can't stop it.

How is that possible. Though yes, today's generation is quite degenerate with the advent of mobiles. They are weened on it.
