The Prakash Jha's next movie's name is Arakshan. It is based on reservations in India. Kinda a complicated topic IMO.

I think it mainly focuses on wether there should be reservation or merit based on intelligence. Whats your opinion on this ? Would India ever will be reservation free ?

After watching the trailer I think it focuses mainly on being your typical crappy bollywood flick.

Only thing to say is manoj bajpai will get more applause after this movie.

The casting of saif looks doubtful to me ,jha should have stick with Ajay.

Exactly as they intended the trailer to be.... I didnt yet see the trailer though :P

Barring Manoj Bajpai, the other actors don't seem to fit in. Amitabh reminds way too much of Mohabbatein, and Saif of Parineeta. Moreover that outburst scene from Saif looks forced and fake. I was curious about this film, but this promo has been a downer

Anyone else want to answer this.

Is the movie asking the question or advocating a position ?

lemme guess, he wants his movie to sell, only poor go to watch this so it must please them. therefore its in support of reservations.

Not within our lifetime. You can't take back what's been given out or there will be agitations.

You can argue from a principled position against it. But the reality is its here to stay.

End of story.

With the censor board ready with the scissors i doubt anybody only for arts sake would make such a movie which would create controversy of much greater magnitude.
When even plays of nathuram godse were not allowed to happen (people will have to see it first to make any judgements on it).
How can one expect an honest film on such a topic?

i expect it to be pro reservations which is the government stand and censor board wouldn't even have a problem.

Is it fair to expect honesty from a film ? No, films are for entertainment.

If you want honesty then a documentary is the best you will get. That too is going to be biased.

do not quote incomplete sentences.
Because i was only referring to the current topic.
There may be many instances or topics which are sensitive to some and hence such topics are best avoided so i was quoting my opinion.

i watched the trailer and i really liked it. I think it is neither in favour of Reservation nor it is against of Reservation.

But i want to know one thing WHY LOVE is so much important in every movie of bollywood even the movie is based on a serious Society Matter.

moreover why to start of trailer of a movie concerned with social issue, with a girl shaking her wet hair making some seductive actions.. :S

----

I guess next movie from the director will be on Black money, satyagrah, baba ramdev... !!

i think ajay should have been there in place of saif !!! he did a great job in rajneeti ..... but i think it would have been too repeatitive for him i guess buh i still he should have been his first preference ....

The movie is about to release and has created lots of hype as expected. And already permaban in 3 states
