CPU/Mobo abit IP35-E noob..

Just got a new IP35-E mobo after my old asus nvidia 590i mobo gave up :p

So have a few queries regarding the mobo..

1.Is it necessary to connect a 4 pin molex to the Auxiliary 12v power connector..since i have no add-ons any of the PCI slots...

2.During boot up ...a screen displays Jmicron blah blah...with the DVD drive listed...and press any key to continue option...can this screen be skipped

3. Also after the above screen the entire PCI slots info is listed...can this screen also be skipped with some bios option... all these screens are to do with the phoenix award bios i guess...

I know all of these aren't any major issues really... but i find these above screens unnecessary :p

but one major doubt the bios at the moment is V15 and i havent yet faced any double booting ....so should i stick to v15 or change to v17....not much ocing will be done on the board...

4. Stick to it if not facing any issue, I tried all versions, back to 12, stability wise its best, have double post but I cold boot after many days, so not a big issue for me. Also liked BIOS 16. 15 and above r neccessary if U have 45nm CPU.
