Can anyone tell me About DAC(diploma in advanced computing course)

Which books shuld i study to score gud percentile in Its all India level
exam...
I am not so gud at programming..Plz tell me a nice book and a link of net

to improve my Skills in programming ..

do they still have C++ papers for entrance ?
object oriented ?
if yes, Balguruswamy (c++) is good for newbies,
which place are u from btw. if in mumbai, then there are special coaching classes for CDAC Entrance
1. read, read, read for c++ theory.
2. code, code, code for c++ practicles part.
3. pray, pray, pray for interview.

dunno if these 3 stages still exist in their entrance!

Well it was about FPG course of CDAC
And u gave me much information about DAC course,I specially started this thread for DAC...

Well darth,can u help me in telling Good weblinks of Learning C and VB languages..and if possible any weblink to improve my programming skills.
