Forum Feedback About the Emergency Downtime

Hello,

Its great to finally hear from you guys Safin, that you guys have everything sorted out now, but my concern is that I know TE is fairly large compared to other forums, but I am sure you guys have the resources to use better technology(hw and sw) for the forums, why not do so and get rid of these annoying glitches/snags forever?

What I am trying to get at is, like many other I frequent various other tech forums, I have not seen the 30 second refresh rule, in any of em, a lot of the times when I refresh it says search has been disabled due to heavy traffic on the server, frequent downtime off late, which i understand was not under your control.

When those sites/forums can maintain or have good enough hardware/software why not bring TE also to that standard, I am not criticizing or anything just trying to put across my point, and understand why a community large as this one cant have access to the latest technology.

ah nice to be back here. saw two guys who have become mods... will go to the recruitment results thread now. :)

Wow, nice to See TE back... :)

I guess i am Addicted to TE.... :P

The downtime was irritating me.... :P
 
Thank god TE is back. Was getting bored by just checking if TE is up or nor every 30 mins.

TE is the best.

I think it is because of monetary constraints. TE is run only by the owners money and no one else's. TE does not ask for donations for its members.

TE is run by some individuals and not some big media house like Digit or Chip or UTV(it runs Techtree). So TE does not have the big budgets that they enjoy.

TE owner manages everything efficiently even on their small budget.
Hats off to the owner and his friends for this.
