AC Chemical Cleaning: How Frequently?

How frequently should one get the chemical cleaning of AC done? The AMC told me they in chemical cleaning, they sort of dismantle the AC (not the outside window machine but only the inside the home one) and that helps a lot compared to the regular servicing they do.
 
You don't need to.Chemical they use is Hydrochloric acid.If your fins have blue or gold coating it will damage it and durt will start collecting on fins more frequently and you will need their services more frequently.These coating are for some reason and if you have coatings on fins they will get cleaned with water easily.
