AC for less than 10k

I live in a rental house, so don't want to spend too much on AC.

Just a .75T window AC will do. Any suggestion.. Cheaper price is preferred as i will be using it for a couple of months only..

Also is it ok to go for second hand AC? Will i get it for around 5k ?

You could probably try a Haier window AC. It might not be less than 13k -14k though. Within 10k I doubt you will get a decent branded AC. You might have better luck with a second hand.

I bought a second hand window AC a while back, a 1 ton Voltas for 6 k. I had to get it serviced once, which cost me a bit. The only problem was that it's cooling effeciency had decreased a bit and the power consumption was a bit on the higher side.

Still, like you I was living in a rented house and only used the AC for two months. Worked out perfect.I guess you could find one for around 5 to 6 k.
