i have installed the ac3 codec but the volume in the movie is still very low.Volume is low only for ac3 codec files. i did the following but no use
1) Go to Control Panel => AC3 filter
2) Open AC3 filter, at bottom uncheck "Normalize" box and raise the volume slider to max. uncheck 3 "BSI lock" boxes and raise sliders to max.
3) Select "Mixer" tab at top, uncheck ALL boxes.
4) Select "Equalizer" tab at top. check mark "Equalizer on" box and slide all volume slides to the max.
5) Select "System" tab at top
uncheck "auto load movie configuration files"
uncheck "Use WAVEFORMATEXTENSIBLE"
check mark "Wave out" button (it's below "Direct Sound")
6) Click "OK" at bottom to save these new settings
