I'm trying to access my system via FTP over the internet.

I've Forwarded the Port 21 FTP as External to Internal port 21.

My local system has port 21 configured as FTP site, as i can access the ftp site using this ip:
ftp://192.168.1.2 .. it is working fine.

but when i try to connect using my PUBLIC (external) IP then instead of redirected to my local system ftp site, Beetel Modem's FTP site opens up.

Please guide me how can i forward correctly to access my system via FTP.

Thanks.

well i guess u'll have to forward the port for the address, not to reach ur router but to ur ftp folder...

give ur IP a name frm dyndns or no-ip.com

What the hell?

Is the a Guide or tutorial?

I think its not, then i request mods to move it to appropriate sections
