accessing net from two different pc with same adsl modem

I've recently taken the BSNL dataone connection and i am using the type 4 modem with 4 lan ports, 1 usb port and 1 wi-fi port.
i am using one of the lan ports to connect the modem with my computer.

i have another pc and i had initially thought that i would share my existing internet connection with it. but there the problem is to access net on the 2nd, the 1st also needs to be connected. then i thought that i'll connect the 2nd pc with another lan port on the modem and dial from it directly.

in that case, do you think it will be possible to access the net from both the pc s at the same time?

you need multi-user setup (not talking about the multi-user plan of DataOne)

hmmm....cant you just plug in your second computer onto one of the other LAN ports on the router? As the router/modem has DHCP(unless you have disabled it) it should be a set to go.....

most of the guides available online are not for mt841, which is the modem i am using. but i've changed the available ones a bit to get my connection working now..

i'll try to post a step by step guide on how i set it up soon..
