Why is there confusion ? I have answered earlier also that I had replied only to Pt 1 - Is it possible to add Extra one more stick of 8 GB RAM (by Dealer without violating Warranty)
The pic above had clearly showed 1 empty RAM Slot in its default configuration
I am not talking about your model but general rule /policy to upgrade any Acer laptop by own hardware without voiding warranty is going through Service Center which charges service/ labour cost

ohh.. my bad, I thought you too have same laptop that Vivek... bought and Vivek may busy so couldn't replying, so you replying to clear our doubts about same model ....
