Ok,

So my dealer has ready stock of the Acer Aspire One

5 pieces are in ready stock right now, colour - BLUE. He can get more but no idea when those will be available.

Pricing for more than 1 piece = Rs 21750. One of my friends is interested so I am looking for at least 1 more person to get the price :) The more orders, the lower the price I can try to get ;)

So who wants one?

XP version reviews arent up yet it seems, only linux 8G SSD has been out a while. Anyways, heres wat google gave me after some digging :):

PS: Just checked with another dealer (baba, was trying a lower quote ;)). He hasnt received ANY stock and doesnt expect to anytime soon :bleh:

Quick Specs: 9" screen, 1.6Ghz Atom, 120Gb SATA HDD, 1Gb RAM, Xp preloaded, 3 cell batt (>2.5hrs real world as per reviews, larger 6 cell batt will be available for purchase separately after some months.) :ohyeah: Now theres a config. Oh, 1.25Kg with 6 cell batt, so this is 1kg<ONE<1.25kg

1 yr Acer (international, me 90%, check site) travellers warranty, warranty extension available.

Confirmed:
1 X non-TE (my friend)
1 X XXXX on TE

I now have enough to get the price  Any more who get in will get this price or lower, depend how much my dealer gives ;)

i got the linux ssd version. Its got the best screen among the netbooks.
Gonna put a 1.8" HDD into it to make it usable with Xp.
Plus its got lotta space inside for modding,

Linux version is expected in some time (as per launch reports). But, ONLY 8Gb SSD + 512Mb RAM for 20k :O

This is definitely worth the 2k extra over the linux version. That gets you 1Gb RAM, a 120Gb HDD AND Xp preloaded :)

yeah... its jst around two and half hours of battery life... which is equal to that of most of the laptops available today...

Its a gr8 device... though i must say that the official pricing is 21,999.. so i dont see that much of a diffrence here >>
