My mistake.. look like i went too much with the prices :no:

said config is 20500 still without taxes and in 17500 + taxes they are offering linux loaded 120GB HDD and 1 GB ram loaded.

How do these netbooks do at 720p stuff? I am thinking about getting one and doubling it up as a cheapo HTPC. Dont have any 1080p stuff. So it will be all Divx, Mp4 and DVD isos. Plus occasionly the rare 720 file.

Also if I connect one to a LCD TV does it give me a resolution option of 720p?

whao i was thinking of a desktop replacement with a budget of 40 k laptop ....but the laptops with this config under 25k is now becoming a possibility for me....and I can upgrade my desktop with the rest money...

It suxx at playing 720p. The video and audio are not in sync. Also exporting the display I had some issues with getting a 1440x900 resolution on my monitor. Maybe I need to connect the monitor directly to the lappy and try once.
