Hey I heard that Acer has launched Gateways and eMachines in India. Hey the features are really cool. The Gateways are priced above Rs.35, 000 whereas eMachines start from Rs.9, 999. The products are positioned against Sony Vaio, HP, Lenovo. They also released an All-In-One Desktop. The features are really cool and stylish. I really like the L30... I think it will give a tough competition to Sony Vaio P-series The good thing about Acer is that they give us the choice of selecting features, which we require and not thrown at us and that too, at affordable price. I am also attaching some pictures from the event. Hope you enjoy it, as I did!!!

Good to hear Gateway is finally in India .I have been using Gateway from 4 years still no issues except that i messed around with the Keyboard by removing it and broke some thing inside.Acer s**ks in after sales service dunno how they are gonna do with Gateway.

Has the information regarding these products added to the acer.co.in website???

Is the eMachine a netbook???

If yes then it would become the cheapest netbook in India after the Asus EEE PC 701 if priced at Rs.9999/-

well, i think the model they offer at 10kt wont be much more than a nettop that too without the monitor. dont think it will want to offer a direct competitor to aspire one :p
