Acer Service in India?

Don't know about Bangalore, speaking about Kolkata. I had an Acer XV272U KV monitor that started showing screen artifacts after a year. Since it was under warranty, I sent them an email. A technician came to my place, accessed the issue, and approved a warranty replacement. Since they never had the same model in stock (it was discontinued), they sent me a 30" 200Hz Ultrawide after getting my approval (same price bracket as my previous model). In about two weeks, they home-delivered a brand-new sealed unit. Very seamless.

Positive experience with their warranty claim process. Laptop went kaput during the warranty period. The system would work but the screen would not turn on. The technician arrived, inspected, and took away the laptop with him for further analysis. They rang us back and told us that since it is under warranty, they have ordered parts and the replacement and labor will be covered under the same. No extra charge. The laptop still works till this day although it is used sparingly. This was somewhere around 2021-22.

Acer Nitro V laptop bought in 2023 Dec. Laptop was upgraded to 32gb ram and 1tb SSD removing the warranty void sticker(was not an issue with warranty service process). Main usage is programming, video editing, gaming and media consumption. Video editing, gaming runs the laptop at super high fan speeds. I bought 2 year extended warranty.

Motherboard fried after about 10 months of usage. Not sure the reason but I suspect the heavy usage keeping the laptop at super high temps and fan speeds may be a factor and also Delhi heat. Acer customer care was helpful and sent a technician after initial trouble shooting over phone. Technician arrived at home. Checked the laptop and placed an order for a new motherboard. Another tech arrived with a new mobo after a few days. Replaced the motherboard, registered new mobo to the system and I was back to up and running. All in all a smooth process.

Since you are considering the same model just be aware when on a heavy load like a davinci resolve editing it sounds like a jet engine with fans at max.
