build quality of the lenovo should be good but acer generally offers more features

After seeing new 3-4 models low value lenovo less 35k.
I am very much impressed very much to ACER, And also after the intro of Santa Rosa processors, Acer is excellent in performance & battery life.

I have been using Acer 4710 for the past 6 months and am highly impressed. Acer is usually cheaper because at times they do no bundle Windows with it.

Acer does not have Fingerprint Reader technology and lenovo laptops are

IBM products.

Correction: USED to be IBM. is lenovo now after they bought over the business :P get ur facts straight.

n u can always enter a password instead of a gimmicky fingerprint. i doubt anyone buyin a budget laptop really needs something like that ;)

password can be easily reset without even loading windows but with fingerprint technology

it is not possible.

Lenevo is more Rugged compared to Acer which steals the looks. If battery life is ur concern then go for Lenovo.

Fingerprint technology are not stored on the system it works on sensors

called minutia points it cannot be reset using these points because there in

encrypted form.

:)I had bought an acer laptop for my bro...Was highly disappointed...My only bad investment as far as computer hardware goes...Has been giving a lot of probs...Poor battery life random restarts and the build quality(particularly of the keys) are not good...

I would advice you against an acer..Get a budget dell....they have lappies for 34k and all...will be better peace of mind...

Also if you get a laptop within your budget with the OS bundled try getting one
