Hi guys. Need an acoustic guitar in good condition for learning purposes. Location is delhi and shipping is not preferred at all. Please pm me if someone is willing to sell.
Thanks

Regards
Bhushan

Would suggest for you to go to absolutely any music shop, and play and buy an instrument, instead of looking for one online.

Just a suggestion from a regular player.

Thanks. Can you give me an estimate of its cost?

If you don't mind an Indian made one, a 1000-2000 rupee instrument will be fine. If you don't mind spending some more, you can pick one up made in Indonesia or China for a few hundred rs more which might be slightly better, but you wouldn't know until you felt both in your hands.

There are some threads to help you make your choice in the Audio Zone, and a very long guitar thread too. Read through those - there are some long posts on theory, practising and how to choose your first instrument.

FWIW I've only ever sold two instruments, the rest of the older ones I tend to have given away once they broke or needed repair.

I doubt 2k gets you anything except a guitar you don't want to play because it feels and sounds horrible. If you want a guitar that actually motivates you to play, you have to be prepared to spend a bit of cash. I consider a Walden the minimum for a new player, though one can get by with a GB&A or similar brand.

You have to play it or ask someone who can play to help you choose. You can't choose from a catalog/price list.
