Update your Whatsapp from www.whatsapp.com/android 2.12.19 and whatsapp calling is activated by itself, no need to get a call from anyone.

I have version 2.12.5, and today on my phone the calling feature was activated on its own. A few of my relatives too got it today. So, I think WhatsApp is slowly rolling out the feature to everyone, and so there doesn't seem to be any need for requests now .
