Thanks. Don't have paid version of MS Office. Is thunderbird ad free? Any idea about the gmail drive thing? If windows and if you have MS Office just use Outlook. Thats really good.
Otherwise you can try thunderbird. I did not like it.
After using Outlook at work i felt that much easier to use.
Thunderbird is an opensource email client. It is completely freeThanks. Don't have paid version of MS Office. Is thunderbird ad free? Any idea about the gmail drive thing?
There also plenty of plugins for Thunderbird to customize it however you want.Thunderbird is an opensource email client. It is completely free
For some reason, even after giving permission it never logs in that account.Use the mail app on windows 10. its quite good
Will check Zimbra and Nylas.Gmail for Windows was basically a google chrome app with offline. You can still use it, there are some settings to be done.
Thunderbird is good. You can look at Zimbra Desktop. Nylas Mail forks are another look - https://github.com/nylas/nylas-mail#forks (as the OG is no longer in development)
Windows 10 Mail app is another option, but cant recall if there are ads.
Unfortunately for some reason unknown it is not letting me add a gmail account. Always gives up some error after I allow permissions in gmail for this app.The mail app in Windows 10 is ad free and works pretty well. I like the interface a lot more than Outlook. Sure Outlook has granular control for everything. But if you don't deal with many mailboxes, the inbuilt client is pretty good.
Will try and get back to you. It's a known issue, thought MS has updated the client to deal with it.
