I have a system max SMU-600SLU ups with a power of 600va/360watt and now I need a higher ups with a power of 1000va
When searching I found a system max model with a power of 1000va/600watt It even has the same shape, but the width of the 1000va UPS is slightly wider
When looking at the specifications i found that the ups 600va and ups 1000va have the same technical specifications such as (Output Frequency - Input Voltage Range - ....) and there is no difference at all.
The only difference is that the 600va UPS has one 12v-7ah battery and the 1000va UPS has 2 12v-7ah batteries.
These are the specifications of the two devices:

Forgive me for my ignorance about UPS devices but I thought about buying another 12v-7watt battery and connecting it next to the battery in the 600va UPS, and The UPS becomes 1000va/600watt ! Because as you can see in the screenshot the specifications are the same and there is no difference
so, If I add another battery, will there be problems?

Sorry for the long post
Thanks

It won’t work this way. The circuit on one is designed with 12V DC and the other is designed with 24V. You are most likely going to burn your UPS by trying to connect 24V to a 12V circuit.
