of course it has been.

Though the accident was not huge or fortunately it did not cost anyone's life but still none of the news papers or tv channels reported it. Where as the pics and information was out on whats app at 5pm same day...
It is surprising looking at the huge number of news channels and the weird and pathetic news items they rush to cover.
Like commissioners dog or MPs buffaloes or someone b**ching about someone in politics or Bollywood.... these news will run for 24 hours as BREAKING NEWS.

I gave up watching news channel altogether and newspapers as well. I feel far far better since doing this.

Is it just me who thinks that this seems fishy?
NO fatalities when people have fallen off a roller-coaster? What was it, a cushioned ride?
Perhaps the family has been paid off pretty well.

What really happened here? News coverage is minimal at best. Someone on fb shared that a few persons died. I'm not sure. By the way, who is this park owned by anyway? Reliance? Can't believe these scumbags. They have a significant say in almost all the news channels. I doubt anybody would be willing to take them on. They would face serious backlash soon enough and be extinguished forever.

Owned by adlabs.. Is that reliance?
Yes. According to the Wiki:
The company was initially established as Adlabs Films Limited in 1975 by Manmohan Shetty. The company began to expand into the film industry and in 2001, the company entered the multiplex business, setting up the world’s largest 3D IMAX screen in Mumbai.

In 2005, the Reliance ADA Group became a majority stake holder in Adlabs, and in 2009, it was renamed Reliance MediaWorks Limited.

no, manmohan shetty sold his whole stake in adlabs to reliance later.
reliance renamed adlabs. imagica is by shetty, not reliance (unless they have a stake in it). think he owns the adlabs brandname now

i have been to imagica and from the photo i could tell that it was the smaller roller coaster (green one) in front of gold rush. It was by no means big or fast and so we decided to avoid it. The bigger one is called nitro and if any thing happens on that one, surely the people in it are goners! Midday covered it and i read it online. It stated that a mother and her kid had got injuries and they were in treatment at a nearby hospital. Believable, I say.

On DNA it says mother is 35 & daughter is 16 yrs old.
I saw in comments that some one who was there during the accident mentioned about more people being injured. Some guys head was broken and people could see his brains it seems.
