Finally, i was tireed of Release Candidates, RC7 ...

I use portable firefox and tried installing the 10.1 by extracting it and copying the flashplayer.xpt and NPSWF32.dll file but it turns out these files are no longer accessible...googled around a bit and finally found a way to install it - search your OS drive for these two files (resides mostly in sys32>macromedia folder, different for 64-bit users) and then copy them to your portablefirefox>app>firefox>plugins folder.

BTW initial experience doesn't show any marked improvement in 720p playback or maybe my Radeon5470 is too weak..
