ADSL light blinking.. please help

m experiencing lot of problems with my mtnl broadband conn.

plan - 512 kbps unlimited combo

dns ports -8.8.4.4 ,8.8.8.8 ( google DNS Ports)
adsl light blinking 75% of the day every 2-3 min ....:ashamed::S
CRC errors go as high as 20k or so.....

It probably seems to be line problem. Even my MTNL modem's ADSL light keeps on blinking entire time but my connection is fine (apart from occasional disconnection).

On a side note, i see that your upstream is showing as 509 kbps. I suppose max upload is 256 kbps with MTNL at least in my case.

try to change modulation to G.992.1 (G. DMT) Search in those tabs above. option might be in tools or advanced.

Have u checked filter and any noise on phone line. Try changing filter

There is simple fix for this problem, turnoff ur modem, take a wire and short the phone line 2~3 times.

when your lights keep blinking just pick up your phone receiver for sometime until it gets stable has worked for me hundreds of time.

@OP i used to have the same problem but then i got it sorted by changing the splitter..
