ADSL modem for MTNL

Hi Guys
I am looking for wireless modem for my MTNL connection. One guy is selling D-link DIR-300 and TP-Link TL WR340G V4. Both are between Rs. 600-700 range. Which one should I go for or neither is good? I dont want to spend more than 1k on modem now.
Usage- I just want to use it for wireless internet connection only.
Please let me know.

neither supports ADSL in them, you will still need a ADSL modem.

I dont know what ADSL for, I heard it from MTNL so I typed it in this thread:ashamed:. Is it necessary? I just need wireless modem for connecting laptop and desktop to the internet. Will they work with MTNL?

Do you have the ADSL modem supplied by MTNL. If that is there then you will need a basic Wifi Router. In any case you need to have ADSL modem.

The models you've mentioned in your first post are wireless routers. They are connected to an ADSL modem to share the internet connection, both wired and wireless. Do you already have a modem from MTNL? If yes, then you can pick up either one of the two devices that you've mentioned and they should work fine with the modem.
