ADSL Router for BSNL dataone, for 3 PCs, laptop, mobile

I need a wireless router (using BSNL DAtaone 750ul pppoe mode) for connecting 2 or 3 desktop PCs, 1 or 2 Laptops and wifi enabled mobile like nokia 5800 or SE W705. Which is the best one avaliable and at what price? Also it should have no problem using torrents(bcoz my old Netgear DG632 and Dlink 502t disconnected frequently while downloding torrents). Ppl recommend Linksys WRT54G but this router is in the bad router list at AzureusWiki Bad routers - AzureusWiki.

Doesnt flashing new firmware void warranty of a new router? Also WRT54GL is just a router, does it have ADSL2+ modem also?

So plz suggest me a good one. How is Dlink 2640T and Linksys WAG54G2?
 
get the default router provided by BSNL only

i myself use Dataone Utstarcom -WA3002G4 model provided by BSNL.

and its pretty good.

no problems watsoever.

4 ethernet + 1 wifi, adsl2 , router
 
I've got a Nokia Siemens SL2_141 Type II modem which has 4 Ethernet + WiFi .. i currently have my pc connected over the ethernet, and browse from the laptop, phone (Nokia 5800), and PSP ... no problems as of yet ..

Does is it support 1 wifi device at a time? unlike 4 ethernet simultaneously ...?
 
^Most wireless G routers support up to 32 wireless clients simultaneously. In theory, of course!!

@OP: I don't know how reliable that list is, because I've used both a Linksys WRT54G and a Netgear WGR614 and never had any problems with torrents. Of course, I used uTorrent not Azureus.

The WRT54GL is just a plain router, not an ADSL modem + router. The WAG54G2 is an ADSL modem + wireless router and is a fairly stable unit. Have used it for sometime too, running heavy torrents without any problem.
 
yes it supoorts many simulataneously

i have used upto 3 wifi myself

cant say about 32:P

have been using it for the pst 2 years

dats the best one available for its price.

i myself got for 1800

now i think its 1600 or so...

comes with 1 yr warranty

all others r costly..:P
