ADSL2+modem model 220BX problem

I have airtel broad bend connection, and ADSL2+modem model 220BX Beetel
the problem is when I start ADSL does not connect but when I turn off the modem and restart it then connect, previously it was automatically connected.
I mean I have to reset the modem manually every time I start the pc
can any body tell the reason and solution of this
 
Please be more clear on what you say. You mean, you have to restart or reset the modem ?. If you have to restart each and every time, then try resetting the modem once by pressing the small hole at the rear of the modem with a ball point pen or safety pin for 2 seconds or till the lights start to flash . If this doesnt resolve the issue, then..

its a modem hardware issue. Ask them to replace that modem. Most probably you'll get a beetel 110tc1 as replacement. This is advanced than the 220bx...
