ADSL2+ modem with offline download needed

My current BSNL UTStarcom WA3002G4 modem is almost dead ,acting weird , anyway its been 3 years now and time to throw it out and buy a new one..

My needs are

-ADSL2+ supporting modem

-Better coverage (N) series

My doubt is , i saw Belkin playmax modem which supports Torrent Genie , the price is around 8,000 Rs , a little costly for me.

so i thought whether it is possible to get a modem with USB support for external drives like Netgear DGN2200 whcih cost around 4000/- Rs and flash it with tomato firmware or other custome firmware which has any torrent genie like support ??

Or apart from Belkin , if anyother modem support torrent genie like feature is also welcome...

I ordered Netgear DGN2200 , costs 4200 Rs ..

Atleast can someone tell me whether its good or how it works ? i am not able to see much reviews.. so when it arrives (friend is getting it), atleast i can send it back with pack unopened..
