ADSL's password lost

just woke up this morning to find that i cannot access my modem config page anymore. somehow it's giving me an invalid login when i try to access it. the passwords were factory set and not altered. i even accessed it yesterday to give it a restart when the net lags.

how can i retrieve it ... i had saved the password in my browser but apparently that doesn't work any more . i'm scared guys please lemme know asap !

Which modem you have ?

try resetting it to factory.

mine is a Beetel 110BX1 , airtel connection. but resetting would delete my setting on the router ? can i re-configure it back to what the airtel guy did ?

phew reset'd the modem , now the page opens ... plus the settings were fairly straightforward so online aswell .

but still not sure how it got changed , since i'm the only one using this net connection. should i be worried ?

It is always preferred to change the password. Atleast next time you will remember it + you get that added security for your modem too.
