Hi,

Which one is better of two in terms of music quality:

1. Audigy Value
2. Live 24 bit

I think both are 7.1. Any other card good for music around 2.5k???

And a headphone around 1.5K primarily for music (Stereo).

I suppose the answering the question is not much difficult.

that 80$ card will be around 5k here. and what about headphones???
 
and here are my recommendations for headphones according to u r budget

philips

SBC HP 840 (don't knw if still avlbl in the mrkt.)

SBC HP250

SBC HC130 (Wireless) -

Sony

Fontopia MDR - EX 71

Sennheiser HD

201\202- a little more than u r budget

Altec Lansing

AL502i - average quality headphones for arnd 1 k.

i think the one line..conclusion that u need..is that both are the same and it doesnt matter much which one u get if u r buying them for music..so ..get the one which is easily available in the market for a better price or else if can strech u r budget go for something better like AUDIGY ZS ..

Instead of going for Audigy 2 ZS ,i suggest you get the Creative Sound Blaster Live 24 Bit 7.1

Live 24 Bit shud cost you around 1500-2000 bucks only

But how is Audigy value comparing to Live 24 bit??

and headphones, which is better:

HP805
XD200
XD100
HP800

Can you sort them acc. to their performance! :)

Thnx for the info, but If you compare featurewise, I suppose these all are missing in the Audigy Value also.

I thought somebody must be having personal experience with both the cards
or the knowledge of their DACs/hardware, so that they can guide me through
the purchase of better one (ofcourse priority is music)
