Hey Guys i'm planning to buy Custom IEMS.
i won't be planning to upgrade for a while after getting these

i'm a not a BASSHEAD.. i love highs and mids(sometimes)
i mostly listen to trance (psychedelic:Jumpy: and progressive mostly) , techno, electronic
sometimes Rock.. 'Pink Floyd' :hail: Offcourse and some old rock
and sometimes Pop and Vocals

My current Headphone is Audio Technica ATH AD500
preferred Equalizers - Flat

Budget max 25K

I shortlisted Few

Unique Melody Global | Marvel
this one has only 2 BA driver 1 for low and 1 for high and mids
and for this i'll have to increase my budget

1964 Ears - Products - Triple Driver Custom IEM
this one has 3 BA driers 1 each for low, mid and highs

Fidelity Custom Earphones Fidelity Triples
i read somewhere that people are facing some problems with fidelity guys
also it has some different connector

are there any other customs in my range

or should i buy Ultimate Ears TripleFi 10
Logitech Ultimate Ears IF-P7PSA0005-02 TRIPLEFi10-GUN METAL BLUE-US Headphones | eBay

The real problem of getting customs is getting shippable ear impressions from audiologists in India...to choose there are many threads in head-fi

...

Guys does any one knows any Good Audioligst In Pune.

any other Suggestions regarding IEMs.

They're not fragile at all and should hold up well.

Pack each piece individually in a zip lock bag and ship them in any durable box or tin can.

There are quite a few people here with customs and they'll tell you the same thing.

Go to any hearing aid specialist in your city. Insist they use a bite block. Download the tip sheet from the JH Audio site and ask them to follow the instructions.

Should cost between 75-100 per ear.

The JH5 is good option, even the demo unit ive heard sounds good.
You could also look for a used entry level heir audio custom. Think their ownership transfer (warranty and reshell ) is only 70 USD.

hey Thanks @Ritvik

JH5 looks good but they have only 2 BA

I'm thinking to go with 1964 ears V3
they were Editors Pick for Worship Leader Magazine in 2012

HeirsAudio entry level, Heir 3.A also looks good

Please Share

i'll be buying it across last week of April or 1st week of May.

Don't pay too much attention to the number of drivers mate. In short all the customs from bigger players are good, read reviews and find one that you think suits you.

I see a lot of Heir customs being sold but its the 8A most of the time.

found this a used Heir 4.A
http://www.head-fi.org/t/653717/fs-heir-audio-4-a
350$(for CIEMs) + 70$ (ownership transfer) + 60$(different color shell)
this turns out to be 480$ .. shipping extra and then customs for used Heir 4.a

or

1964 ears - V3
for 425$ with a year warranty +45$ for shipping
and i think they offer different color shells for free

which one would be better

i think i should go with 2nd one
I wish dollar rate to slash a bit by the time i purchase:p

i don't think heir 4.a will be available around the April end .
is it worth 'rushing' now?

u cant go wrong with any of the top tier lot / um / jh / heir / 1964 .. its all about music pref and what sort of sound sig u like.. take a pick of what fits ur budget and make the jump .. and yess readddd alot on what type of sound u like and what is the closest to it. just want to give u a bit of heads up / most of these companies will not low value ur ciems.. for insurance purposes.. so keep in mind the added 30% tax that u will haveto pay. so unless u have friends in u.s or china/hk ... u wont be able to avoid duty .. or pay more as added local uk/aus tax.. as heir / um have uk/aus offices
