PC Peripherals Advice on PSU

Hello have a seasonic x1050 PSU which i feel is an overkill for my system i.e. i5 4690k, maximus hero mobo, gtx 770 (upgrading shorty to 390/970), h100 cooler, ssd, hdd, 5 case fans..
I think a 650 watt psu is enough for the above specs.. maybe an antec vp650!
What do you guys think..
Plus i am getting an offer for the x1050 psu for 10k warranty valid til 2021. What should i do? Should i sell it and get a 650w psu or keep the seasonic itself.. i am confused.. please help me decide brothers...
 
For build with GTX970, you may get away with Seasonic 620W modular PSU, saving you approx 3k after selling current PSU. OTOH, For R9 390, you would need around 100-120W extra capacity. Seasonic 750W modular PSU costs near 8.5-9k.

But what would you do if you were me.. sell it or keep it.. [emoji4]
besides i am not in any need of urgent cash either.. is the x1050 psu draining more power that might effect my electricity bill.. or is it almost same as that of a 650-750w psu..
 
Keep the Seasonic PSU.

I got my Seasonic M12II 620w for 7k where as 750w comes @ 9k & 850w @ 10k. You are getting X1050 @ 11k, so its a very good deal. Okay.

Firstly, a PSU will have an efficiency rating. If it is 80% efficient, to give 80W of power, 100W of power will be consumed. Make a note of the efficiency.

Secondly, the max efficiency is achieved between 50-80% load only. Less than that, and efficiency will range from 40% and upwards.

A PSU is supposed to only use that much power as much is needed. So look at the two points and make your decision.

No i meant to say i already owe x1050 psu.. i was thinkin of selling for 10k.. thats what i was asking should i sell it and get a 650w psu.. or stick with x1050w.. plus does x1050w draw more power even if my pc requirement is less than 650w..?
