31-40k Advice on Upgrade path to choose - CPU or GPU

Hi
Currently using a AMD 4650g with a 6600XT around 3.5 years old.PSU is ANTEC NE550 bronze. LG 1440p.monitor.
Does it make sense to replace the CPU with a 7800x now or jump to a 9070xt or something from nvidia to increase the life as I intend to keep it for a few more years without a change of mobo.
Normally i play AOE and sometimes single player FPS with very limited other usage.
Budget looking at 30-35 max

You can't get any of these upgrades under 30-35k anyways

9070xt alone costs 65-70k

I would say, For your use case, I think this should be enough for next 2 years
Just keep saving money, and get a big upgrade later

Thanks for feedback.. wanted to say a 9060XT. upgrade gpu now and switch to new platform after few years and continue the gpu but that will be old also at the time.
I am also hesitant to change but the itch to change something is and don't see any real accessories to upgrade... Have a keychron/good mouse - so will hold off then

My system is sort of similar. Old Core i5 6600K with 6600XT and I use it to play comfortably in 1440p - as seen here.
I have tried stronger GPUs like RX 6800 and didnt see cpu bottlenecking as I mostly play gpu dependent AAA titles.
Hence, If I were you, I would replace the 6600XT with 6800XT/7800XT used and save something from the budget of 35k.
Or if buying new just get 9060XT 16GB and do the CPU upgrade in another ~ 2 years.

Upgrade to 9060XT 16GB now only if you are confident of spending another 40k on R5 7600 + mobo + RAM within next 6 months as there will be CPU bottleneck. Or at least upgrade CPU to 5700X3D provided you have a decent mobo. Do mention specs of mobo & RAM.

4650G is a worse R5 3600. R5 3600 was not ideal for 9060XT level of GPU performance even back in 2019 (say close to 2080Ti level).

Attached specs added another 16 GB RAM stick + some storage and the 6600 XT

If RAM sticks are 8 + 8 + 16, you are hurting gaming performance.

You can get 9060XT but make RAM either 2x 16GB or 4x 8GB, also upgrade CPU to at least R5 5600, even used will do.

4650G will run your mobo's PCIe slot at 3.0 rather than 4.0, so there's that as well. So considering 6600XT has x8 lanes, it is running at PCIe 3.0 x8 & is hurting its performance as well, couple it with imbalanced RAM, not looking good for current rig.

Not as much. Yes ideally Rx 6700 with full 16 lanes is better but if budget is limited, then 6600XT with PCIe 3.0 x8 is perfectly serviceable as shows in my system
