Hey guys,
I am Looking for suggestions on purchasing a wireless keyboard and mouse
Would use it for generic computing purposes and majorly for playing fifa ;)
The distance from my rig and the keyboard and mouse would be approximately around 5ft
Budget is not an issue, but i do think that a gaming mouse and keyboard wouldn't make sense in my case, however I don't want to face lagging key strokes
Awaiting your valuable inputs, cheers!!

Wireless Keyboard and Mice are not for gaming mate.

That being said, you can go for Microsoft Wireless Desktop 3000 or Logitech Mk710.
Former costs 2700 and latter 4500 IIRC

I was looking for a wireless kb + mouse (combo or separate) too.. but I was trying to see if i could get one that has backlit keys.. I really need a keyboard with that feature, unfortunately most wireless ones that have backlit keys are super expensive

Logitech had a model K800 but sadly it's been discontinued IIRC

@mjumrani correct.. it never retailed for less than 8k when it was in production.. even now prices are super high.

Logitech has some idiotic pricing in India

For gaming stick to wired. For everything else use wireless.
I have both so it's not an issue for me.
It a pain to find a place to keep both sets though

@mjumrani thank's for your advice mate :), ill stick to the wired ones ;)

I was about to purchase the wireless set by tomorrow, but then I'm glad i seeked for opinion on my decision.

Avoid Microsoft, i bought one and it lags and hangs like crazy, my distance is not even 2 ft. Having researched endlessly for a decent wireless combo and ready to spend till 4k, im sorry but there are no options at all.

Sad to hear about your misfortune but you are in the minority.

I know 2 people who have bought the same set on my recommendation. They have been all praises about it.
Besides which I know 2 more who have had it before hand and concurred when I bought it.

Moreover the reviews have rated the set quite well, which is how I chose it in the end.

Always remember one bad product doesn't define the whole range of products by a company. Stereotyping a company based on a single product is just wrong unless proven without a shadow of a doubt.

Wouldn't suggest a wireless keyboard for FIFA13 or for gaming in general.. coz you'll imnently face the problem of key blocking and ghosting (you won't be able to press three or four keys at the same time)

For example, in FIFA13, you won't be able to make diagonal crosses or cross field lob passes

You want to enjoy FIFA go for a controller, you will could not go back to keyboard after using it, just my 2 cents..
