Kaun you can have inverter ACs from any respected brands. Daikin, Toshiba, O-General, Panasonic, Sharp, Trane all makes excellent ACs. If you do not have any budget constrains I will advice you to have a serious look at Mitsubishi Heavy Industries range topping inverters.

@RishiGuru so in that case any make would be fine..?? (as long its an inverter ac)
nobody better amongst them Daikin, Toshiba, O-General, Panasonic, Sharp, Trane.??
how about onida, lg, hitachi.??
and how much would the Mitsubishi range cost.?[DOUBLEPOST=1366785629][/DOUBLEPOST]@RishiGuru , i assume that you are recommending them as "SPLIT" Inverter AC's and not window ac's

A two Ton MHI Inverter AC would cost Rs 74,000. I have experienced Sharp two tonners also the 24MV,it is excellent in all aspects and is cheaper than the Mitsubishi. Mitsubishi Heavy Industries After Sales Service is very very very poor. So beware. The whole ASS of MHI is done by the dealesr,so you guess it. On the other hand Mitsubishi Electric have a better ASS and an organized support. Mitsubishi Electric and Mitsubishi Heavy are different companies like Anil and Mukesh...so keep that in mind.

I believe all Inverters available in India are splits. Correct me if I am wrong.

Wow!!! That is truly costly.
I have experienced Sharp two tonners also the 24MV,it is excellent in all aspects and is cheaper than the Mitsubishi.
I believe one can have the Sharp 2 Ton Inverter at INR 51K along with complete free installation kit. That’s a good deal INR 23K cheaper than MHI.
Mitsubishi Heavy Industries After Sales Service is very very very poor. So beware. The whole ASS of MHI is done by the dealesr,so you guess it.
Thanks for letting us know.

with all the brands that you've suggested (Daikin, Toshiba, O-General, Panasonic, Sharp, Trane)
I've got ample of choice to choose from.. in that case i reckon ill end up buying the one that is more economical on the pocket. (as all of them perform the same)
any specific model that i need to be looking at.??

I wouldn't mind shelling a lil extra, ONLY if its worth the moola though

With that budget Trane, O-General, Daikin and Toshiba's using R410A gas are out of question. Choose any model between Panasonic and Sharp.

My personal preference is defenitely the Sharp AH-XP24MV. Yours may vary.

Wow thats strange why would the preference vary.?? i mean we are looking at specifications right..!!
another quick fire ;), on your thread you've praise LG and justified it pretty well.. so how about that for me.?

Is this the model you're referring to http://www.ezoneonline.in/Products/...rp/Sharp-AH-XP24MV-2-T-White/pid-1538037.aspx

The preferences may vary due to the ASS available in your locality.

The old LG Inverter on which my views were based had a much better product quality than their current lineup. With multiple members complaining regarding many designs and manufacturing related issues of their ODU’s I thought not to include them in the list.

It is an open market kaun, you can buy what ever you desire. Why look for my suggestions when you don’t need one?

hey @RishiGuru, you're getting me wrong..:( your suggestions do matter... and they do make a hell lot of difference to someone like me who does not know ac's that well technically.
But incase if i have unintentionally offended you, id apologies for that !! :sorry:
