affordable good place to live in india

@lockhrt999 it is indeed required for export of services. Yes i do web design for international clients. IEC can be deactivated, i recently reactivated paying rs200 fee. Things are very complicated bro. i know someone who got Good and service tax notice from previous system, 10years after/now. they are chasing, providing proof of payments of those exports. tax officer going to get some good money or already got. i don't know but yeah, this is the reality.

Not if you are making money in non-INR. You can get eFIRC for the international payments that nullifies the need of getting GST and charging more to your clients.

You mean VAT. I had that too. It was easier to file one return every 6 or so months than to file 4 GST returns every month.

If you make money in non-INR, using LUT you can pay zero GST. But it doesn't stop you from needing to file GST.

No logic, law is law. If no LUT, then pay 18% too.

Edit : of course subject to other conditions like minimum income, which kind of services you export etc.

eFIRC for $10-$20 payment is not possible. with payment gateways, need GST. i had the account with stripe which they closed.

you need GST even if you make INR 1 outside the state.

Islands have different culture, hospital facilities are not that easy, etc. Visiting and enjoying few days are fine, permanent stay is tough.

Same happened earlier in Mumbai, still ongoing.
It's better for south if north Indians avoid that region, tons of problems by north Indians in some regions of south.
Exactly
Try to stay in places where you find cultural and language similarity to avoid any conflict and for safety also

What about Pondicherry an UT in the south. I think all UTs are good to stay and work. Everywhere there will be BSNL FTTH, Jio Fibre and Airtel Fibre available for internet and almost every UT have good road, rail and air connectivity except Andaman & Nicobar Islands & Lakshadweep Islands which have Air and Shop connectivity.
They are also cheap to stay.

One of my BILs native towns uncle went to Port Blair to establish a business but since only local born in A&N are eligible to establish businesses there he married a 2nd wife in Port Blair and put up a Bar & Restaurant for peak tourist season while in non season he rents it to honeymoon couples. He has his 1st wife in Hyderabad where he has travels office. He travels between these 2 cities every 6 months. By the way none of his wives does not know that 2 exists until now. He kept it that way. He has 4 children 2 from each wife in Hyderabad & Port Blair.
Anybody who was born in A&N UT or resided there for more than 15 years can buy, establish or sell properties otherwise it's a big no. So he curcumin vented in this way.
We stayed there last time in 2016 but he took the central govt LTC and didn't show much there not he provided us good food. His agent comes to our wife's govt company and takes couples and families and does not show anything or food and are robbing people. The agent takes his comission by the way.
So people should be wary of such aholes particularly who wants to go for a tour to A&N Islands.
We have our own TE member who will help us in case we need to go for a tour to Andamans.

Met a Pakistani guy in China who did the same. He saw a lot of Pakistani youngsters immigrating into certain cities and married a Chinese lady (second wife). Got the permits and now runs a halal certified restaurant lol.

Btw who is our TE connect in Andaman? I would really like to visit that place sometime.
