I have it (suck horribly at it b/c i'm a scatterbrain.. lol), and me and one of my online friends play it. So I was just wondering if anyone on here did...
 
I do, and I'm doing pretty well actually. Completed the campaign on moderate(need to do it again on hard). Have a dutch city at level 39. Currently leveling up the British civ.
 
ehe if you havent started playing it then dont and just play aoe2 :D
it roxx everything else :P

and btw... i can own u in any RTS :bleh:
i can beat it 1 on 2 any difficulty in the 3 days i played it ...its just that if you have played RTS online then you can adapt to any rts

if you wanna improve really fast then download and watch a few recorded games of experts ... you will get a really good idea about strategies, when to advance, and army control

heh...heh... Another AOC Fan I see.. :P

Yeah AOE 2: Conquerers is the best RTS in my opinion. But I still do like several other RTS games like Supreme Commander, AOE 3, C&C 3 and more.

As for Rec Games of AOC, you wouldn't believe, I must have download more than 4 gb's of rec games and watched them. They are sort of entertainment for me. I used to watch rec games of top clans for hours at a stretch like watching movies.

As for AOE 3, I dont know why people seem to hate it, it may not be as gripping as AOC multi player, but still its quite good. I have legit versions of both AOE 3 as well as the expansion War Chiefs, finished the campaign mode in AOE3, War chiefs still remaining, also I am getting Asian Dynasties too.

but that includes all the games i've played too...and i play on college lan so atleast 2-3 games a day..

I just heard someone say that "the Asian dynasties" expansion pack gives the feeling of playing warcraftIII. Is this true? Hope to get some impressions on this game.
 
AOE players: History buffs who would think they know a thing or two about strategy

C&C players: Realism buffs who couldn't care less about strategy as long as they get their tanks/nukes (non-gamer cousins)

Warcraft players: People who know there is only One

Starcraft players: All Koreans

anywayz I also love RTs games .. and I play AoE2 , C&C ,
warhammer 40k-DoW,
Warhammer 40k -DoW is my fav of these .. it has got its awesome pace and the game is all about war from the word 'go'.. used to play this one a lot in College days .. now I only play DotA at Esports ,bangalore ..
no-one plays W40k there..
 
DotA does not rulez! DotA is not even an rts, it's just an incredibly dumbed down Diablo 2 PvPvM.

I used to play WH40k, but have now moved on to Company of Heroes. Similar gameplay structure and the sheer number of explosions at any given time make it more appealing.
 
hi guys... i am AOE lover too.
has anybody of you tried Rise of Legends - if not then please download and give a try.
its a Warcraft III + AOE style game.... just give a shot.. i liked it.
playing campanion in moderate mode and it is dam tough.. enjoying...:)
