PC Peripherals AGP to PCI Converter: Your Thoughts

Someone told me that such a thing was available...

I need ur suggestions as to what extent is this feasible/recommended?? Isn't there a huge difference in the speeds of AGP bus and PCI bus??
And if it does work what kind of AGP cards does it support??

Any information on this (and availability :p) would be appreciated...

EDIT:oops,thought it was AGP-PCI-E converter
 
Welll... It will work only with half cards and not full cards so dosent matter even if it is as PCI or PCIe converter...

Albatron has made one...... I cant find the link rioght now, but Albatron had made one quote a loooong time back.

LOL! Not i810, i'm stuck with an 845gvsr :p, but since i'm not into heavy gaming i don't wanna upgrade at this moment...

But i do need to play the occasional football game, FIFA 06 does run, but would be better with a graphics card...

So instead of going for a PCI card (hard to find) would it be better to look for this converter??

Oh yeah while searching for this i did come across an AGP to PCIe converter as well (made by Albatron) Here.... i don't know if the reverse is possible tough....
P.S. Some help on my original query will be appreciated...
 
this photo is not agp to pci. it looks like pci-e to agp.

half card are half hieght cards.

to use the convertor the bracket needs to be removed from the half hieght card.so it will fit in an atx chasis.
